Controlled Goods Program
Dyrand Systems is registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (“CGP”). This allows us to serve clients who are registered with the CGP. We have System Specialists who are security assessed under section 15 of the Controlled Goods Regulations and who are authorized to examine, possess or transfer controlled goods. Dyrand also has policies and procedures in place to ensure compliance with the CGP. This means our clients can rest easy knowing we have the proper screening procedures in place to work within even the most secure environments.
Since 2002, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act has mandated a set of enhanced reporting standards that publicly traded companies – and public and management accounting firms – must follow. SOX is designed to provide improved confidence for investors by increasing the legitimacy of companies relative to financial disclosures, conflict of interest, auditor independence, and corporate and criminal fraud accountability to name a few.
Companies subject to Sarbanes-Oxley need to be certified annually, and part of this certification process involves IT auditing and reporting. Dyrand Systems is able to help companies become and stay SOX compliant through the provision of auditing services focused on IT processes, IT security and IT change controls.
Dyrand employs a set of universal best practices and a widely accepted approach for IT Management referred to as ITIL. This is implemented through training and certification of our system specialists, and it results in the delivery of professional and holistic service to all of our clients.
